Ice on the roads - drive carefully
Along with sleet, snow and rain in the south east. Worse in the country's northern nether regions.

And very cold again tonight, with potentially hazardous, icy driving conditions.

Be safe. Clunk, click and the rest.

Or alternatively, a good excuse to get the back end of the car sliding out.

But only in the middle lane of the M25 of course.

I understand there is no snowplow budget and no one has winter or all season tires but it does still make me chuckle a bit that public transport was completely shut down yesterday in a city the size of Oxford.

This was a good thing though if it helped people avoid being in Oxford.

It would be nice with about 90% fewer people and 90% fewer vehicles.

Apart from that, all good.

That's quite an achievement considering how slowly those things usually move.

Don't we know it, the birds in the office haven't stopped moaning since they got in about train problems and about how cold it is in here.

I've got the fan on, office is like a bloody sauna.
